Life and Money
In Life and Money, I’ve embraced the link. Rather than apologize for wanting money, I encourage readers to embrace their dreams, goals and values and to put money in its proper perspective, to view it as a tool.
Like any other tool, the user will need to understand its use, its strengths, its weaknesses.
Life and Money: Before Marriage
It is the second workbook in the Life & Money series. As in the first book, I use the fundamental Personal Financial Management principles, to help the reader manage the inescapable link between life and money.
Below are links to purchase the first two books in our children’s series. The books focus on teaching children to share and save for the future. Though the topic is serious, families will enjoy following our loveable characters as they embark on everyday adventures that will teach readers valuable life lessons. The books also meet federal and state standards for financial literacy.

Jake Saves the Day
Jake and his friends have a great life on the farm with Farmer George where they have everything they need. Despite their good fortune, Jake takes time every day to gather and store extra food. Jake’s friends often ask him why he works so hard when Farmer George is such a good provider. A crisis strikes and the answer comes quickly when Jake saves the day.
Jake Earns a Treat
Jake takes time every day to gather and store special treats to share with his friends. One day in town he spies some of the yummiest treats he’s ever seen! These special treats aren’t like the ones he finds growing wild on the farm. He’s going to have to earn the money to pay for these. With the help of his friends Hen and Bob, Jake earns his treat and a lot more!
